Walkden Jags 1998-1999
Welcome to our homepage, Walkden Jaguars Inline Roller Hockey Club was first formed in February 1998 by a group of local children. We entered one age group into The Greater Manchester Inline Hockey League 1998/99 season and finished mid table. The club has grown steadily since then and this season we entered three age groups into the Manchester League.
Walkden Jags 2000
Walkden jags Minnow and Peewee teams had an excellent season with both teams managing to finish in the top 3 of the manchester inlineroller hockey second division. And the minnows mannaging to reach the final of the Manchester league cup, but having to settle for the runner up sheild.
But after a poor season for the junior team alot of players where lost and hopes of the junior team surviveing looked dim but with alot of effort from all the team and especially staff and our fans (Players Mumies) we managed to live to see another season.
Walkden Jags 2001
with a new season upon us, walkden jags set out with one aim, to win. And with the loss of our minnow squad, we were down to 2 teams. The Peewees and juniors.With another loss of players during the pre-season, hopes of any league success looked hopeless. But with those 2 years of the team training together, looked to of payed off with the current form of both teams. Walkden Jags look to be setting the standard for fellow second division teams.
